- How it works: You hand your passport and fee to a 8 SISI BALI. They handle the paperwork and the queueing. You only have to visit the immigration office once (for your photo and fingerprints).
- Cost: IDR 800,000 (this includes the government fee and the agent's service fee) depending on how fast you need it processed.
- When to Apply: You should start the process 7 to 14 days before your current visa expires.
- Overstay Penalty: Do not let your visa expire. The penalty for overstaying is a strict IDR 1,000,000 per day.
You will need to provide:
- Your official passport, which must be valid for at least 6 months from your original entry date.
- Proof of an outbound flight ticket showing that you are leaving Indonesia within your new 60-day window.
- VoA cannot normally be converted into another type of stay permit and is not a work or residence visa; working or running operations on a VoA.
- You must complete the All Indonesia arrival card online within 3 days before arrival, separate from the visa process, but Immigration now promotes it alongside VOA/e‑VOA use.
